Candice was born and raised in the surrounding New Orleans area of St. Bernard Parish and earned her degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 2006. Candice worked through school and upon graduation for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge. She quickly worked her way up from an Administrative Assistant during college to the Human Resources Specialist and Mortgage Manager. Candice’s experience at Habitat laid the foundation for her career to come while strengthening her passion for giving back.
In 2009, Candice moved to Mandeville to be closer to family and began her career with Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith. In her current roles, Candice works as the Office Manager of the Mandeville location and Human Resources Benefits Coordinator, handling benefits for the firm’s twelve office locations throughout the Gulf Coast. Working at Galloway offered Candice the opportunity to serve on the board of Executive Women International of New Orleans for the past 10 years, serving as President in 2016. Candice was awarded EWI Member of the Year in 2011 and 2015 for her commitment to the organization and service to her community.
Candice spent several years spearheading a team and coordinating an annual fundraiser for the NO/AIDS Task Force in New Orleans. Over the years she, with the help of her family and friends, raised over $30,000 for the organization in memory of her late uncle. Candice volunteers regularly with the Archbishop Hannan High School Alumni Association, working to raise money for a Legacy Scholarship given each year to a graduating senior going to college.
In an effort to balance work and family life, Candice enjoys spending time with her wife of 7 years and son Cole.
