Andrea Romero is a licensed financial advisor with Edward Jones here in New Orleans, where she runs her own branch office and partners with clients to help plan for their biggest financial goals such as retirement income planning, life insurance, financing college for their children and other investment needs. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, she spent two decades in nonprofit grant-making and fundraising at several distinguished charitable organizations, including the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, National Audubon Society, Georgetown University and Tulane Law School.
Andrea is a Louisiana native and dedicates much of her time to supporting local charitable causes, including serving as Board Member of the PFLAG New Orleans Chapter, chair of the PFLAG New Orleans Scholarship Committee, and member of the development committee for the Bricolage Community Association at Bricolage Academy charter school. She previously served on the Lighthouse Louisiana Board of Directors. In her spare time, Andrea marches as a member of the NOLA Cherry Bombs, and spends as much time as she can with her two young daughters.
