Charlotte D’Ooge has held various leadership positions in the non-profit sector and currently serves as the Resource Development Director for Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana. She has also held positions as Director of Philanthropy at Southern Rep Theatre, Development Director at the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana, and Development and Communications Director at the Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana (JJPL). Before joining JJPL she worked for the Newcomb College Center for Research on Women at Tulane University. Charlotte began her career in fundraising in Washington, D.C. as a Major Gifts Associate at Service members Legal Defense Network. Originally from D.C., Charlotte is proud to have called New Orleans home for over fifteen years. She holds a MA from the University of Manchester in Gender, Culture and Sexuality and a BA from Tulane University in Women’s Studies. She is also a founding board member of BreakOUT! and has served on various boards in New Orleans including Forum for Equality and Parkway Partners.
